Your post and pictures brought back happy memories of the early 80's when we pushed the buggy through Crystal Palace Park on Spring afternoons. Thanks for the reminder weekend blessings!
Love it. We went to a bird garden yesterday but it was so cold none of the birds were feeling amorous. The sky certainly wasn't that blue either. Am jealous of all the nice weather you lot down south are having.
That's just up the road from me (you should have popped in for tea!) I'm always amazed seeing the parakeets, they are so noisy that you usually hear them before you see them.
Thanks for your comment - it's no fun unless I know what you think!
If you ask a question others might want answering too I'll reply here in the comments - if it's personal, I'll reply directly by email if you're set up.

ReplyDeleteThey're fine, there are thousands in South London. They come from the foothills of the Himalayas originally so the cold isn't a problem.
DeleteWe have them in Osterley Park as well - so lovely to see and hear them!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw "lovers' tiff" in the blogfeed I wondered what you and Mr FHCS had been up to;) Thank goodness it was these gorgeous creatures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images - gorgeous sky, gorgeous birds. They used to say "blue and green never should be seen" - what a ridiculous saying ;) x
What ace photos. I spotted some of these last time I was down South. Those colours are so amazing, you can't believe nature creates such beauty. x

ReplyDeleteThey're so beautiful - amazes me that some people think they should be got rid of because they're not native to this country!
